Ingredients List
  1. 2 lbs. boneless beef chuck steak, trimmed and cut into cubes
  2. 6 tbsp. Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
  3. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  4. 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil or sunflower oil, divided
  5. 1 medium onion, chopped
  6. 2 carrots, sliced
  7. 1, sliced celery, sliced
  8. 1/2, leek, chopped (optional)
  9. 3/4 cup small whole mushrooms
  10. 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  11. 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
  12. 1/2 cup dry red wine
  13. 1 tub Knorr® Homestyle Stock - Beef
  14. 1 1/4 cups boiling water

1. Toss beef with Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise in medium bowl and let stand 30 minutes to marinate.

2. Remove beef from marinade, then lightly roll in flour.

3. Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large skillet and brown beef over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. Remove beef from skillet and add to slow cooker.

4. Heat remaining 1 Tbsp. oil in same skillet over medium heat and cook onion, carrots, celery, leek, mushrooms and garlic, stirring occasionally, until onion is golden, about 4 minutes. Stir in tomato paste and wine. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

5. Add vegetable mixture to slow cooker, then stir in Knorr® Homestyle Stock - Beef blended with boiling water. Cook covered at HIGH 4 to 5 hours or at LOW 8 to 10 hours or until beef is tender. Serve, if desired, with mashed potatoes.
